Publix's ad is still going no new ad until April 23, again another store that is offering lots of sale items that are a great price even without coupons. Below is what I am buying this week at Publix. This Publix ad runs long due to Easter. One thing I love about Publix is that the sale last past Sunday, there is usually a good chance that a coupon might come out on Sunday to use for the Publix sale before it ends.
Remeber Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals at Publix ring up half price, you do not have to buy both items to recieve the savings, also you can use a coupon on each item.
Grab your own ad when you go, take it with you check it out at home to see if you missed any deals. Also grab the fliers, there always coupons in there from Publix.

There are alot of deals this week at Walgreen's that don't require much work or even coupons! Walgreen's has a program called Register Rewards. This is coupon that prints at the register after you pay good on your next purchase. While some cashier will tell you a reward will not print if you use a coupon on the item, that is not true, usually it means the printer was off, broken, or you bought the wrong item,

*** Quick Tips Register Rewards don't roll.... meaning if you buy a Colgate Toothbrush, recieve a $3.50 Register reward, and then use that reward to buy another Colgate Toothbrush another reward will NOT print.
BUT say if you use that register reward to buy another from a different company, say use it to buy the Chapstick, and something the $2 register reward will print for buying the chapstick.
Problems... that register rewards will cause are.... say you are buying 5 items and you have a coupon for each item, and you have a register reward that you want to use to pay, the register will reject it, you will need to add another item to your order ( called a filler item) that was you have 6 items, and 5 coupons and 1 Register Reward, no beeps, all good!
Or another problem, your total is $3.00 and you want to use a $3.50 Register Reward to pay, it won't work. Your BEFORE TAX total needs to be over the amount of the Register Reward,
I hope everyone had a great easter! This past Sunday there were no coupons in the paper, this was due to Easter, most holidays weekends means no coupons. I still bought a paper so I could look over the ads and make my coupon match ups. I will be posting soon the deals for Walgreens, CVS, Kroger and Publix. Publix was closed on Sunday and started thier new ad on Monday, the new ad runs until April 22, lots of good deals. !
At Publix because of upcoming Easter the ad is 11 days long. This allows you to get the most of the sale! I can only cover a few deals due to I have to go to work, hopefully soon I will be able to post from my phone which will me lots of updates, Good Deal even without coupons is Kellogg's Cereal B1G1F save $2.89, one box is $1.45
there are coupons at Food Lion in the blinkie machines that $1/1 any Kellogg's cereal
$1.45 - $1 = .45 cents!!!!!!!!! This is an all time low !!! the sales ones are Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies, Coco Krispies, Honey Smacks, Pops, also inculded in the sale are the Cereal Straws these are good snacks, I also got thos for .45

Alot of non couponers or beginner couponers say " I don't want to go to a bunch of different stores." Well I do go to a bunch of stores, but not always. When the ads come out thats one reason why I sit down and look oover them. I want to be organized so that I can spend less time in stores. I take a piece of paper and fold twice, first in half then in half again. I then write the stores name, followed by the items for sale that week that are a good deal along with any notes. I write how much the item would be, or if the coupon expires soon. I do this for all the stores. Once I have completed this I take the coupons to match the deals and put them in my small coupon holder behind the store. Now I am ready, this helps me so that when I run into Walgreen's. If I do not have alot of time I grab only those certain coupons and buy only whats on my list. Doing it this way having everything planned is the easiest way.
Granted I do not usually get to every store on my list. But it also means I don't miss good deals because I forgot a coupon.
