Walgreen's Rolling!

Share

I am sure you are asking Walgreen's Rolling? Yes rolling! I am going to roll the register rewards this week at Walgreen's! Grab your Walgreen's ad and look for items that will score you a Register Reward for purchasing them, (aka Walgreen's Money).
Several items this week will score you a Register Reward (RR), there are usually more RR items the last/first week of the Month.
So a few tips on RRs.
You can use a coupon on the item and still receive the RR, if the cashier tells you that your RR didn't print because you used a coupon they lied!

You can use RRs to purchase other items that will print RRs as long as they are a different brand. What does this mean?
Example
Dove Shampoo or Conditioner is $4 Buy one and receive a $4 RR good on your next purchase.
If I take this $4 RR and purchase another Dove conditioner or shampoo another $4 RR WILL NOT PRINT, ok.
So I will take that $4 RR and buy the Colgate Pro Clinical Toothpaste $3.99 and a small filler item, pay with the $4 RR and a $2 RR will print for buying the Colgate.

Why did I buy a small filler item, because Walgreen's register is going to reject your RR if the amount is over the before tax price. The Colgate is only $3.99 so I need to add something to my order to get it above $4.

Now the ROLLING and why I buy multiple papers, this weekend theres a coupon in the paper for $1.50 off Dove conditioner. I will take the dove coupon and my $2 RR from the Colgate, grab another Dove conditioner, and a small filler item.

Why the smaller filler item for this one you ask, since the cost of the Dove is more than the $2 RR?
Reason Walgreens register will reject the coupon. You need to have the same number/or more items as you do coupons, not less items.
The RR is considered a coupon.
So the Dove, then the RR, & the Dove coupon is 2 coupons, and ONE item. So I will grab a small filler item, pack of gum ect,
so
Dove Conditioner $4
Gum .50¢
=$4.50 + tax
minus $1.50 Dove coupon = $3
minus $2RR = $1 + tax out prints a $4 RR for the Dove, We have now ROLLED our RR.
Now I will take the $4 RR grab another Colgate Pro, small item and repeat, Get another $2 RR.
Then I will take this $2RR and Buy the Dentek Floss which is $2 and prints a $2RR with that $2RR I will do the Dove conditioner deal again.

Another quick tip on RR, only one RR will print per deal. Example the Dental floss is buy 1 get a $2 RR, if you purchase 2 in one transaction (at the same time) only ONE RR will print. If you purchase them separately then one will print each time.
Hopefully this helps! Enjoy!

Next Trip Walgreens....

Share

Grab a Walgreens ad, and Walgreens coupon booklet, both are located at the front of the store. You can use a Walgreens in ad coupon or walgreens coupon from the booklet together with a manufacture's coupon on one item!
What I am buying....
Schick Quattro disposable razor are $6.99 use the $4/1 that came in TODAYS sunday paper, then use Walgreen coupon for $2/1 from the coupon book final price .99¢ each
Next is buy an Olay Quench Lotion get a FREE Olay in Shower Body Lotion, $7.99 for both, use 2 $1/1 coupons from previous week's coupons pay $5.99 for both, then... go here print the rebate for buying the Quench lotion, print the form send in what it says, and shortly recieve a check for the lotion, usually the rebate will be for the full price before coupons. So even though we paid $5.99 for both we will recieve $7.99.

Its smart to make a copy of the rebate before sending it in, or scan it to your computer. This in ensures you have a record that you sent the right items, and that you recieve the rebate.

Next if you need toothpaste the Colgate is $2.99 use a $1/1 coupon and recieve $2 back in Walgreens register reward, bascially walgreen's cash!

The sooner you learn that every week the sunday paper come with these little pieces of paper that you can cut and use just like CASH money the better. As soon as you learn that your handy dandy printer will print coupons, and its just like printing your own money the better. If you absolutely refuse this concept, please just bring me your coupons!

Today I started with becoming a fan of Huggies on facebook, which then let me print a $3 Huggies coupon.
Then I printed $2 off Nivea Bodywash from www.coupons.com
Then I googled printable coupons for Rite Aid and printed a $5/$25 coupon for Rite Aid
So my plan is first Rite Aid I will buy
Covergirl Mascara $7.99
Covergirl Mascara $7.99
Covergirl Mascara $7.99
Covergirl Mascara $7.99
Huggies Diapers $8.99
Candy $2
this = $42.95... add some tax...
then the coupons....
Covergirl Mascara is on sale Buy One Get One Free
Rite Aids cash register will automatically take $7.99 x 2 off =$ 26.97.... This is why I threw in the candy so my before tax price is OVER $25
hand over $5/25 (yes I hand my coupons over in a certain order) = $21.97
Hand over my 2 B1G1 Free Covergirl coupons - $7.99 x2 = $5.99
Hand over huggies $3 coupon = $2.99 plus tax.... out of pocket for 6 mascaras pack of Huggies and candy.... wait its gets better
I will then take that RiteAid reciept and input the numbers online for Rite Aids rebate check program and at the end of the month get a $1 back for buying the Huggies...
So again,,, please print me the coupons if you don't need to save money!
